Biography

Damoder Reddy Motati born and raised in Raincheru, Medak, India, and he earned his B.Sc. Chemistry and Biology from Govt. degree college, Medak, Osmania University and M.Sc. Organic Chemistry from Osmania University main campus with 9th rank in PGCET, India. He got his PhD in Chemistry from JNTU-Hyderabad/CSIR-IICT, India. His doctoral research involved in the development of new synthetic strategies and application to the natural products synthesis, new chemical entities for treating cancer. In 2014, he moved to Union University USA for his postdoctoral studies and Now working as Research Scientist in Department of Pharmaceutical Science, Union University, USA. Additionally, Dr. Motati had an industrial research experience at Albany Molecular Research Inc. and teaching experience at Loyola PG College, Hyderabad and Union University-USA. Published several international peer-review publications including Chem. Sci., J. Org. Chem., Org. Lett., J. Nat. Prod., Euro. J. Org. Chem. He also received several awards and recognitions. His magnificent studies on the utility of MBH-adducts and C-H functionalization in synthetic processes significantly contributed to drug discovery, which is inherently important to global public health. As shown by his impressive track record, Dr. Motati?s unique combination of research experience has provided him with a particularly comprehensive understanding of medicinal chemistry that encompasses the scientific breakthroughs of academic research as well as the implementation of these discoveries in the areas of medicine and public health. Dr. Motati also working as a reviewer for more than 25 international journals and editorial member for Archives of Organic and Inorganic Chemical Sciences, Journal of Organic & Inorganic Chemistry and others.

Research Interest

1.synthesis of new molecules for the treatment of cancer, anthrax infection and cardiovascular diseases. 2.Development of new synthetic strategies for organic synthesis and application of these new methods to synthesis of drugs, bioactive compounds and molecules of pharmaceutical interest. 3. Teaching Pharm D class and training laboratory skills 4.Involved in the research and development, process chemistry of bulk drug technologies 5.Intensively utilized HPLC, LCMS, GCMS and NMR instruments and techniques in R&D analysis
