The purpose of evaluation is the judgment about the quality of education and to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses, it is done to achieve educational goals and improve their qualities. The most suitable method for this purpose to evaluate is done by its members. This study aimed at evaluation of Midwifery, Islamic Azad University of Mahabad to determine the strengths and weaknesses, to improve the quality of education which has been conducted. This cross-sectional study, the group's criteria, group equipment, space, theory and clinical training, students, faculty members, method of teaching - learning, and production of new knowledge were assessed. The data collected through questionnaires, observation, was the Check list. The group members in their several meetings, the markers and to determine ideal points for each of the criteria selected, the status of the markers were compared. Desirable characteristics of each criterion and each criterion between 1 to 5 (very poor to excellent) were classified. Criterion score was determined and the final results were used to classify Gorman. The results showed that the internal evaluation of midwifery organization with a score of 3/5 and more than satisfactory rating, Agent of support has a score of 4/07 and a strong rating, the process of learning - learning with a score of 4/03, and a strong rating and a total score of Midwifery 3/97 and has a good rating. Midwifery education has evaluated the students score 3/37 and the rating was more than satisfactory. The head of department, faculty members and council groups, each rated 3/5 and rank-based classification Gorman was more than satisfactory. Finally, although the total score of Midwifery Gorman Table 3/97 and has a good rating. The evaluation results, it is clear that with the elimination of known defect in any particular part of clinical training can achieve a better result. The Department of Midwifery, Islamic Azad University of Mahabad, with its strengths and weaknesses of the evaluation group is actively strengthening the positive steps to eliminate the defects and pose.
